  1. Flirting

    "Dear Jamie... Sincerely Me"
    Hellogoodbye

Dear Jamie, I've got a letter I would like to send.
It's lacking strings of words with punctuation at the ends.
But should I trust this dialect,
    To convey the right effect?

    Cheating/Break Up

    "Wolf's in Sheep's Clothing"
    This Providence

You're so good at stretching the truth,
    into a sugar coated lie.
    Everyone takes a bite.
I have been dining with the enemy.
It was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

    Unrequited Love

    "Chasing the Wind"
    This Providence

Nothing matters, I'm just chasing the wind
Nothing matters, I'm just chasing the wind
If I can't have you, darling

    "Dancing With Myself"
    Glee Version

If I looked all over the world
And there's every type of girl
    But your empty eyes
    Seem to pass me by
    Leave me dancing with myself

    You're My Soulmate!

    "Baby It's a Fact"
    Hellogoodbye

    You should know it's true
Just now, the part about my love for you
And how my heart's about burst
    Into a thousand pieces
    Oh it must be true

  2. Neat post Klara,
    So what about songs like
    Katy Perry's "Thinking of You"
Lady Antebellum's "I Need You Now"
    Brian McKnight's "6, 8, 12"?

I think you missed a category like these songs...missing you songs, haha.

"Walked Outta Heaven" by Jagged Edge fits in your The Break-Up category too.
